Harry Kane and his story away from home

Harry Kane is an accomplished footballer, he has earned 21 caps for England, and won the Golden Boot twice in the Premier League. The 24-year-old was able to tick another thing off the list with his first-half double in Tottenham’s 3-2 victory over West Ham, albeit a little more obscure.

Harry Kane’s header from Dele Alli’s cross marked the first time the Tottenham forward has scored against West Ham away from home. He was obviously keen to make up for lost time scoring again just moments later. Kane has scored 42 goals at 19 away venues, so let’s take a look at where, apart from White Hart Lane, he’s done the most damage.

The Hawthorns – Kane has scored three goals away at West Brom. Two came at once as he nabbed a brace in a 3-0 win in 2014-15.

Villa Park – The 24-year-old has netted three times at Villa Park, so Aston Villa are probably happy they’re not in the Premier League if it means they don’t have to host him anymore. Two of those goals came either side of the break in a 2-0 win in March 2016.

Dean Court – Harry Kane baptised his first visit away to Bournemouth in the Premier League with a hat-trick back in the 2015-16 season. Matt Ritchie opened the scoring for the Cherries inside the first minute but Kane’s treble helped Tottenham to a 5-1 win.

bet365 Stadium – Not many players can ‘do it on a wet, and windy night in Stoke’. Kane can, he’s scored three goals on two separate occasions. First, a brace in a 4-0 win in 2015-16, before netting a goal in a 4-0 win in the 2016-17 season.

KCOM Stadium – Hull City would have been relieved to see the back of Harry Kane when they were relegated at the end of last season. In the final match of the 2016-17 campaign, they watched Kane find the back of the net three times in a 7-1 romp. Taking his tally to four goals at the ground.

King Power Stadium – The Tottenham forward has struggled away to Leicester at times but that all changed at the end of the 2016-17 season. Kane netted four goals as Spurs thumped the previous season’s champions 6-1, taking his tally at the stadium to five.

Away goals at Manchester United, Huddersfield Town, Burnley, and Brighton still await the English striker but in the form he’s in he might not have to wait much longer. Tottenham travel to play Aaron Mooy’s Huddersfield next week.
